SoNUS AI

Sound-based Natural Understanding System

SoNUS was built to extract health data from audio collected by standard microphones

Immensely valuable data, constantly wasted

Frequent health screenings have never been practical or affordable on a large scale. They require physical visits to centralised facilities and specialised devices, even for the most basic checks – like those insurers conduct for pre-policy exams.

Meanwhile, our bodies are continuously outputting data about our health. Right now, that data simply disappears into the void. Imagine playing a video game without a health bar or status effects. In real life we do exactly that every day, staying blind to our own health.

Limitless Expansion

A single previously collected audio file can be mined over and over again. This means that, as we expand the types of health analyses our engine is capable of, we can use the same original audio file to discover new health markers. Eventually we will be able to expand from our multi-model AI to the world’s first ever audio-to-health foundation model.

The Starlink of human health

SoNUS is democratising access to wellness screening – all you need is a smartphone. Not knowing what is going on with our bodies is costly: the world loses roughly 17 million souls each year to preventable diseases.

With microphones already everywhere, SoNUS can reach everyone – even those with little or no access to traditional healthcare. In developing SoNUS, we are working with Apollo Hospitals and partnered with the AM Foundation to seek to increase access to healthcare in areas of rural India where most currently have no such easy access.

We seek to bring what once was a luxury for the ultra-rich – concierge healthcare – into the hands of everyone.
